Oh Hyeon-gyu played in Beşiktaş’s win over Çorum

Turkish side Beşiktaş defeated Çorum 6–2 in a third-round match of the 2026–27 Turkish Süper Lig season. South Korean forward Oh Hyeon-gyu came on as a substitute in the 71st minute and spent about 20 minutes on the pitch without scoring or providing an assist, Korea Herald reports.

Vlahović’s hat-trick

The match took place at Tüpraş Stadium in Istanbul. Václav Černý opened the scoring in the ninth minute, while Dušan Vlahović converted a penalty in the 43rd minute. The first half ended 2–0.

Seven minutes after the start of the second half, Beşiktaş conceded, but Vlahović scored in the 59th and 66th minutes. The forward completed a hat-trick and made the score 4–1.

Second win of the season

Oh Hyeon-gyu replaced Vlahović with the score at 4–1. Two minutes after he came on, İlhan Fakılı scored the fifth goal. In the 83rd minute, Amir Murillo made it 6–1, while Beşiktaş conceded for the second time in the 88th minute.

For Oh Hyeon-gyu, this was the third consecutive match in which he came off the bench. Beşiktaş have two wins and one defeat since the start of the season and moved up to third place in the standings.
