Singapore to play Brazil and Paraguay in November — Channel NewsAsia
Singapore’s National Stadium will host four international friendly football matches involving the national teams of Singapore, Brazil, Japan and Paraguay. The games will take place from November 13 to 17 during the official FIFA international window, Channel NewsAsia reports.
Match schedule
On November 13, Singapore will play Paraguay. The following day, November 14, Japan will face Brazil. Two matches are scheduled for November 17: Singapore will play Brazil, while Japan will face Paraguay.
The matches will be held as part of the inaugural Mizuho Blue Challenge — The Kallang Football Series Singapore tournament. The Kallang Group and Dentsu Sports International jointly announced the series of games.

Tickets and preparation for the Asian Cup
Ticket prices for the Singapore-Paraguay match will start from 28 Singapore dollars, or about 22 US dollars. The cheapest tickets for the Japan-Brazil match will cost from 98 Singapore dollars. A single ticket will be sold for the two matches on November 17, with prices also starting from 98 Singapore dollars. Ticket sales are expected to begin on Friday.
In the latest FIFA ranking cited by the outlet, Brazil is fifth, Japan is 17th, and Paraguay is 34th. The tournament is part of the Singapore national team’s preparations for next year’s AFC Asian Cup. Singapore head coach Gavin Lee said that matches against strong opponents would allow the team to assess its level and identify areas for improvement.
