Olympic champion Vladislav Larin, known for his active support of the armed aggression against Ukraine, has been officially included in the roster for the continental championship.

The European Taekwondo Championships are scheduled to take place from May 11 to 14, 2026, in Munich, Germany.

Despite his status as a “neutral athlete,” Larin has repeatedly demonstrated his loyalty to the occupying regime. In particular, the athlete participated in fundraising and collecting ammunition for Russian troops fighting on Ukrainian territory.

A video was posted online in which the athlete directly called on the residents of Karelia to financially support the mobilized invaders.

“Friends, let’s come together and support the mobilized guys who are now defending our Motherland,” Larin said in his address.

The propaganda video was accompanied by captions explaining that the collected funds would be used to purchase medicines and military equipment.

At the end of the video, the letter “Z” appeared, which is a symbol of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Due to his public support for the war and calls to aid the aggressor’s army, Larin had previously been suspended from participating in the 2024 Olympic Games.

However, the current decision by the organizers of the European Championship allows him to compete for medals again.

As a reminder, Mircea Lucescu was placed in an induced coma.

Wilder defeated Derek Chisora and boldly challenged Joshua to a fight.
