Tuchel called on FIFA to change the rules for photographers at the 2026 World Cup
England head coach Thomas Tuchel criticized the photographers’ behavior during the 2026 World Cup match against Croatia.
According to the England coach, while the national anthem was being played, dozens of photographers completely blocked his view of the team, preventing him from seeing his players at a crucial moment before the start of the game.
Tuchel noted that he had been looking forward to this special moment for a long time, but the large number of photographers along the sideline ruined his experience of the ceremony.
The coach called on FIFA to review the placement of media representatives during the playing of national anthems before World Cup matches.
