France Football has announced the list of nominees for the 2026 Ballon d'Or
France Football magazine has released a list of 30 nominees for the 2026 Ballon d'Or.
The list of nominees includes winners and finalists of the Champions League and the World Cup, notably the current award winner, Ousmane Dembélé of Paris Saint-Germain, and his teammates Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Willian Pacho, Nuno Mendes, João Neves, Fabián Ruiz, Vitinha, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Ferran Torres.
Eight-time winner Lionel Messi has also returned to the list of nominees after reaching the 2026 World Cup final with the Argentine national team. The awards ceremony will take place on October 26 in London in honor of the trophy’s first recipient, Sir Stanley Matthews.
