All the quarterfinalists for the 2026 World Cup have been determined
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is entering its decisive stage.
Following the conclusion of the Round of 16 matches, all eight teams that will continue to compete for the world’s top soccer trophy have been determined.
The following teams have advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2026 World Cup:

- Norway
- England
- Spain
- Belgium
- Argentina
- Switzerland

- Spain vs. Belgium

The first quarterfinal match will take place on July 9 at 11:00 p.m. Kyiv time, when the national teams of France and Morocco take the field.
Morocco secured its spot in the quarterfinals by defeating Canada.
In the second half, after a set piece, Achraf Hakimi delivered a pass to Azzedine Ounahi, who opened the scoring with a precise shot into the corner.
After conceding the goal, the Canadians were unable to create any serious threats near their opponent’s goal. The Moroccan team played solid defense and made effective use of counterattacks.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup, which for the first time features 48 national teams, is being hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The tournament final is scheduled for July 19.
