Manchester City left back Josko Gvardiol has decided on his future and agreed to a new contract with the English club.
According to media reports, the 24-year-old Croatian will extend his contract with the Citizens through the summer of 2031. Since joining from RB Leipzig in 2023, he has played 122 matches for the team, scored 13 goals, and helped the club win six trophies, including the English Premier League, the FA Cup, and the Club World Cup.
This summer, Real Madrid showed interest in Guardiola, but the defender decided to remain with Pep Guardiola’s team. Ultimately, the Madrid club signed another left back—Marc Cucurella from Chelsea.
