Hanwha Asset Management launches AI platform Odin in South Korea — Korea Herald

South Korea’s Hanwha Asset Management has launched its proprietary artificial intelligence platform, Odin, for all employees to analyze markets and manage customer relationships. As Korea Herald reports, the platform was created based on Anthropic’s Claude model, as well as Hanwha’s technologies and infrastructure.

Market analysis and customer relations

Odin uses more than 300 sources of information covering politics, economics, culture, society, and technology. Every day, the system processes around 60,000 news articles, more than 100,000 research materials and reports from YouTube, as well as regulatory documents from South Korea and other countries.

The platform combines this information with market and company data to identify trends that may help in making investment decisions. The market analytics service combines stock exchange data and product information with AI-generated analysis. Using web search, it prepares reports on market conditions, news, regulation, and forecasts, while a separate tool tracks emerging social, economic, and industry topics.

Protection of confidential data

Another key function of Odin is sales management. The system transforms records of customer interactions into dashboards showing their interests, needs, and changes in their relationship with the company.

The platform processes general market data, news, and research materials in the cloud, while sensitive information, including confidential sales data, is processed within internal infrastructure. Hanwha also plans to create personalized AI agents for employees and launch a portal for limited partners in the first half of next year, which will provide real-time information on their investments.
