Instagram now allows users to edit comments within 15 minutes of posting
Instagram has introduced a new feature that allows users to edit their comments within 15 minutes of posting them.
Instagram announced this on its X social media account.
“Comment editing on Instagram is here. Now you can make changes within 15 minutes of posting,” the company said.
As noted by the 9to5Mac portal, all edited comments will be marked as modified, but the original text will no longer be available for viewing.
At the same time, the new feature differs from some other services, notably Apple’s Messages app, which keeps a complete history of message changes.
As a reminder, the American corporation Meta has begun official testing of the new paid service Instagram Plus in several countries around the world.
