The Ministry of Digital Transformation has updated the national glossary of artificial intelligence terms

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has released an updated version of its glossary of artificial intelligence terms, which includes 40 contemporary concepts. The update reflects the latest technological trends and current international regulatory practices. 

The list of new definitions includes the following terms:

• AI-slop – low-quality mass-produced content generated by generative AI, where speed of production takes precedence over accuracy and substance;
• prompt injection – the manipulation of a language model using specifically formulated texts;
• model drift – a loss of accuracy in a model due to changes in real-world data over time;
• Superintelligence – AI systems capable of self-improvement. They significantly surpass human cognitive capabilities in all areas: from creativity to strategic thinking and solving complex problems;
• system prompt (initial context) – the initial instruction for the AI before interacting with the user. It establishes the context, rules, and style of operation for the entire session.

Each definition has an English equivalent to ensure a unified understanding of processes among specialists when drafting laws or developing products. The Ministry noted that due to the rapid development of technology, the glossary is not exhaustive and will be updated as needed to reflect current requirements and professional practice.
