NASA will host the Max Power Air and Space Show in November
NASA will hold a two-day aerospace exhibition, Max Power, on November 7 and 8 at the Kennedy Space Center on the Florida coast. The agency announced the event on August 14, according to Space.com.
According to NASA’s description, the program will feature interactive activities for visitors of all ages, an air show, skydiving demonstrations, technology exhibits, spaceflight equipment, and military aircraft. Visitors will also have the opportunity to go behind the scenes at the U.S. spaceport, attend presentations by NASA experts, and meet astronauts who have participated in the agency’s famous missions.

NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman, who is a pilot and private astronaut, announced his intention to participate in the air show as part of Max Power. During a press conference, he said that the agency hopes to make this event the first in a series of similar events.
The name “Max Power” matches the alias used by Homer Simpson in the 13th episode of the tenth season of the animated series *The Simpsons*. That episode first aired in February 1999.
