Nokia is back with a push-button phone featuring a 3,700 mAh battery
HMD Global has unveiled the Nokia 300 Charge—a push-button phone with a 3,700 mAh battery that, according to the manufacturer, provides up to 37 hours of talk time or more than 40 days of standby time. The device can also function as a power bank and charge compatible gadgets via USB-C at up to 10 W.
The manufacturer claims that a single charge can provide nearly 38 hours of talk time or over 40 days of standby time.
The main feature of the Nokia 300 Charge is that it can charge another device at up to 10 W. This means that, if necessary, the Nokia 300 Charge can be used as a small power bank for a smartphone, although charging will be slow.
Another feature is a bright built-in flashlight. HMD claims it shines four times brighter than the flashlight on the Nokia 105.
That said, the Nokia 300 Charge remains a standard push-button phone without the capabilities of a modern smartphone. It features a 2.4-inch screen, a basic camera, 4 MB of RAM, and 4 MB of internal storage. If needed, the memory can be expanded with a microSD card up to 32 GB.
The Nokia 300 Charge uses a modern USB-C port for charging. You can also connect standard wired headphones to the phone.
The Nokia 300 Charge is already available in select markets. It costs about $35—approximately 1,500 UAH.
In early July, HMD Global unveiled four new Nokia feature phones—the 200 4G, 210 4G, 215 4G (2nd Edition), and 235 4G (2nd Edition), according to the Finnish publication Mobiili.fi. Despite their familiar design with physical buttons, the phones support 4G mobile internet and video calls.
The phones also feature a dedicated button for an AI-powered voice assistant. Using this button, users can give the phone simple voice commands—such as turning on the flashlight, opening the camera, or setting an alarm. The phones can be charged via USB-C, and the 1,450 mAh battery should provide enough power for extended use without recharging.
