The Verge reviewer pokes fun at a crossbody smartphone strap
The Verge reviewer Allison Johnson described her experience using a crossbody strap for a smartphone in an ironic column. She jokes that this way of carrying a phone seems convenient while also causing discomfort, particularly because a $700 device hangs near the waist while walking.

She imagines a larger version from which the phone could be removed at home, with the accessory hung on a coat rack and taken along on the next outing.
