White House removes Build the Wall game from its website
The White House has removed the Build the Wall game, built on the Tetris principle, from its website. Users were invited to stack blocks of different sizes to stop a “zombie siege of the border.” The Verge reported the game’s removal.
Tetris Company’s reaction
The game was removed a few days after the White House launched a website with “arcade games.” The Verge notes that the reason for the removal of Build the Wall is currently unclear.
Last week, Tetris Company said it was looking into the situation. Company spokesperson Kerri Brusca told The Verge that for more than 40 years, Tetris has brought together people of different generations and cultures through play and joy. According to her, the game’s purpose has always been to stack blocks in order to clear as many lines as possible.

Other games remain available
Other games are still available on the White House website. Among them, The Verge names Flappy Bill, which the outlet describes as similar to Flappy Bird, Supply Line, similar to Tapper, as well as Trump Savings Tycoon and Rio Run.
