Rockstar and Netflix unveil 26-minute GTA VI overview — The Verge
As The Verge reports, Netflix and Rockstar Games have unveiled an extended 26-minute overview of Grand Theft Auto VI. The video shows world exploration, vehicle control, crimes, shootouts, and cinematic story scenes. At the end of the video, it is stated that the footage was recorded on a PlayStation 5.
Interaction between the main characters
One of the video’s central themes was the interaction between protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. In one scene, the player appears to control Duval: he hangs from the window of a car driven by Caminos and shoots at police officers pursuing them. In another episode, the player likely controls Caminos while she is driving, while Duval and another character fire at the police.
The video also showed a mission during which the protagonists act separately. Duval, who provides security during the assignment, takes cover and shoots at attackers on the upper floor of a building. Caminos is on another floor and tries to avoid being detected unnoticed. In one segment, she fights an opponent on the floor, while prompts appear on the screen instructing the player to press buttons to break free.

Gameplay mechanics
A significant part of the overview consists of dynamically edited footage and cutscenes, but the video also includes short episodes of direct gameplay. In particular, it shows a weapon selection menu, boat control, playing basketball, diving underwater, racing on a track, and parachute jumps.
The Verge notes that the video appeared after several alleged leaks of game materials by a person or group calling itself CyberLeek. Rockstar said that these leaks upset it. The extended overview is also expected to be available on Rockstar’s YouTube channel.
