Rockstar to show extended GTA VI preview on August 27
Rockstar Games will hold an extended presentation of Grand Theft Auto VI on August 27. The preview will first be shown to Netflix subscribers at 3:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time, and at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time it will be streamed on YouTube, The Verge reports.

Rockstar did not disclose any other details about the upcoming extended preview. Netflix Vice President of Documentary Series Brandon Riegg said the company is excited about its partnership with Rockstar Games, through which Netflix subscribers will be the first to see the next chapter of the Grand Theft Auto story.
Netflix and Rockstar have already collaborated on the release of the original GTA trilogy for mobile devices. Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick, according to Variety, called the level of pre-orders for GTA VI unprecedented and impressive.

Release date and trailer
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026. Rockstar postponed the game to this date, explaining that the additional months are needed to complete the project at the level of quality players expect.
According to Rockstar, the game will be set in the state of Leonida and will bring players back to modern-day Vice City. The developer also said that the second GTA VI trailer consisted equally of gameplay footage and cinematic scenes. The video focused primarily on the game’s world and story, while Rockstar called the new installment the biggest and most immersive evolution of the series.
