Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra drops by $300 at Best Buy
US retailer Best Buy has reduced the price of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra foldable smartphone by $300. The version with 256GB of storage costs $1,799.99 instead of $2,100. As The Verge reports, this is the model’s lowest price since its launch last month.
Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra upgrades
The smartphone has a triple rear camera, a 5,000mAh battery and a thin, improved design. For comparison, the battery of the previous Galaxy Z Fold 7 model had a capacity of 4,400mAh. According to The Verge, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra battery lasts for a full day of use without recharging.
Compared with the Galaxy Z Fold 7, the new model has brighter internal and external displays, improved cameras and faster charging. The hinge design has also been updated and should be more durable. At the same time, the publication notes that the hinge did not fully withstand JerryRigEverything’s rigorous testing. The smartphone has IP48 water and dust protection, which is lower than that of some other foldable models, including the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
