Samsung unveils AI and robotics strategy in the US — Korea Herald

Samsung Electronics held a technology forum in Mountain View, California, where it presented its strategy in artificial intelligence and robotics to developers from global technology companies. This was reported by Korea Herald.

The eighth annual event took place on Friday at Samsung Research America in Mountain View. According to the company, around 80 Samsung developers and executives took part.

Samsung representatives included Lee Won-jin, president of the Visual Display Business division; Yoon Chang-hyun, president and chief technology officer of the Device eXperience division; and Choi Won-joon, president and chief operating officer of Mobile eXperience Business.

Personalized services and robotics

The forum’s central theme was Samsung’s “Your Companion in Life with AI” concept, which the company presented at CES 2026. Executives outlined a long-term strategy to expand the use of artificial intelligence, from smart devices to personalized services and robotics integrated into everyday life.

Yoon Chang-hyun delivered a keynote speech on new products and user experiences that may emerge through the combination of next-generation AI and robotics. Samsung Electronics co-CEO and head of Device eXperience Roh Tae-moon said the company aims to become a trusted companion offering the best AI solutions.

Samsung also announced its intention to hold more events to strengthen engagement with specialists from the global technology industry.
