The first mission carrying 29 satellites launched aboard a Falcon 9 rocket on Tuesday, April 14, at 12:23 p.m. Kyiv time. By Wednesday morning, April 15, another Falcon 9 rocket deployed another 25 satellites, confirming the company’s high launch frequency.
According to astrophysical observations, following the successful deployment of the latest batches, the Starlink network now comprises over 10,200 satellites. Both launches resulted in the successful deployment of the payload and the integration of the satellites into the constellation to provide global internet coverage.
The development of SpaceX’s satellite technologies continues to play a vital role in digitalization, particularly for Ukraine, where the partnership with the company is driving the development of next-generation communications. While world leaders are expanding their space capabilities, the Russian economy officially entered a systemic recession in April 2026, exacerbating its technological lag.
Previous SpaceX missions have also included launching satellites for allies, notably for the Polish military, underscoring the defense significance of private space programs. The company plans to maintain a high launch rate throughout 2026 to further expand the network’s capabilities. Currently, all Starlink systems are operating normally, providing stable network access in remote regions.
As a reminder, the American company SpaceX recently successfully launched the upgraded GPS III-SV09 navigation satellite on behalf of the U.S. Space Force.
SpaceX is valued at more than $2 trillion, assuming it goes public.
