Telegram has launched new features for users
The popular messaging app Telegram has introduced several new features for users.
Telegram groups and channels now support special welcome messages for new members.
Only users who have just joined the chat will see these messages, so they won’t disturb other participants.
You can add multiple messages and media files to the welcome message to provide new users with the necessary information.
Developers can now place multiple buttons directly within messages.
“Combined with disappearing messages, this allows you to create scenarios for everything from polls, games, and horoscopes to browsing and ordering products,” Telegram noted.
These interactive messages can be used in groups and channels, where an unlimited number of users can interact with them. For example, this allows you to organize simultaneous chess games against the computer.
The rich-text editor now supports more types of embedded media. Users can add documents, files, and music to any part of the text.
Another new feature is the ability to add a personalized message and comment to gifts that users purchase within the messenger.
Thus, the Telegram update expands the capabilities of interactive messages, communities, the text editor, and digital gifts.

Telegram founder Pavel Durov stated that the app’s temporary removal from the App Store was the result of manipulation by extortionists. The attacker edited an old message in a public chat, adding prohibited content to it, and then filed a complaint with Apple himself.
