Refurbished Apple TV 4K devices sell for up to $40 off — The Verge
Apple is offering refurbished third-generation Apple TV 4K media players at a discount: the version with 64GB of storage costs $169, which is $30 less than the price of a new device. The model with 128GB of storage and an Ethernet port is selling for $209 — $40 less than the full price. The Verge reports.
Warranty and features
According to the publication, refurbished Apple devices are often in near-new condition and come with the same one-year warranty as the company's new hardware. Apple TV 4K can be used for streaming services and as a small game console for Apple Arcade subscribers. A Bluetooth controller, including the DualSense for PlayStation 5, can be connected to the device to play games designed for PCs or consoles on a large screen.
The third-generation Apple TV 4K supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Siri for searching for films and series. Both configurations can work as a HomeKit control hub for smart home devices, but only the Ethernet model supports the Thread protocol.
