On December 23, Vita Dynamics launched its first robot dog, Big Head Bobo, priced at 9,988 yuan. The company received pre-orders worth 10 million yuan (approximately $1.4 million) on the first day. Deliveries are expected to begin in March 2026. Another developer, Dobot, has started pre-sales for its robot Rover X1 at 7,499 yuan. These robot dogs are designed to accompany people on walks, take photographs, carry light loads, and interact via voice communication.

As technology advances, consumer robot dogs may become popular household assistants, shaping everyday life for users and driving innovation markets in China and globally.
