A Ukrainian businessman has purchased a stake in Spyker, a manufacturer of hypercars

Vladimir Nosov, founder of the global fintech ecosystem W Group, has acquired a significant stake in the Dutch hypercar manufacturer Spyker Cars. As a result, Spyker will become part of the W Group’s international ecosystem, marking a new phase in the holding company’s expansion beyond fintech and digital assets.

As part of the deal, W Group is expanding its operations into the premium automotive sector, combining digital technologies with physical assets.

Spyker Cars, founded in 1880 in the Netherlands, is one of the oldest ultra-luxury automotive brands in the world. The company is known for producing exclusive hand-built sports cars, aviation-inspired designs, and limited-edition models that are highly prized by collectors.

As part of the collaboration, the parties plan to establish Spyker Digital, a company that will develop blockchain solutions for the premium automotive segment. The new technologies are intended to enhance customer engagement with the brand while preserving the exclusivity of Spyker vehicles.

Vladimir Nosov stated that he has long been interested in rare cars and sees significant potential in the brand’s development.

“I have always been fascinated by Spyker’s unique design and its distinctive heritage. I aim not only to relaunch the production of these exceptional hypercars but also to bring this powerful brand back to the global market,” Nosov noted.

He also added: “My goal is to reimagine the brand for a new era while preserving its classic values. Spyker Digital will be a synergy of the best traditions of European engineering and the digital economy, where a sports car integrates with blockchain products, tokens, and NFTs.”

In turn, Spyker Cars founder and CEO Viktor Müller emphasized that interest in the brand remains high, and the announcement of the new model confirmed significant demand for the company’s return to the market.

In August, the company will unveil the new Spyker C8 Preliator XXV hypercar at prestigious automotive events in California. The car is equipped with a non-hybrid twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 800 horsepower and is capable of reaching a top speed of 350 km/h.

Today, W Group brings together over 35 million users in 150 countries around the world. The central element of the ecosystem is the WhiteBIT cryptocurrency exchange, which ranks among the largest European platforms in terms of traffic volume and the number of trading instruments.

The deal with Spyker has become one of W Group’s most significant steps toward business diversification and entering the market for premium technology products.
