Video: iPhone 17 Pro Survived a Fall from an Airplane from a Height of Over a Kilometer
Heather Klein, a resident of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan, said that her iPhone 17 Pro fell from an airplane at an altitude of about 1.1 km but remained fully functional.
During an aerial photography session, the airflow ripped the smartphone from its mount and carried it overboard. Thanks to the Find My feature, the couple was able to pinpoint the crash site and locate the device in a canola field.
According to the owner, the phone was lying face up and had no scratches or cracks. After the incident, she said she would use a more secure mount for her smartphone during future flights.
