On June 18, rain is expected in some regions of Ukraine

The weather in Ukraine on June 18 will be changeable, with occasional rain of varying intensity in a number of regions and dry spells across the rest of the country. Moderate rain is forecast for the southern and eastern regions, as well as in most central regions at night, while in the northeast, light, brief showers with thunderstorms will occur in some areas during the day. 

The heaviest precipitation is expected overnight in the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions, where significant rain is possible, while the rest of Ukraine will remain dry with no precipitation. 

The northwesterly wind will blow at 7–12 m/s, and nighttime temperatures will range from +9 to +14 °C, reaching +15 to +19 °C in the south and southeast, while during the day, temperatures across the country will rise to +20...+25 °C. In Kyiv and the Kyiv region, variable cloudiness with no precipitation is expected throughout the day, with nighttime temperatures of +11...+13 °C in the capital and +9... +14 °C across the region, while daytime temperatures will reach +21... +23 °C in the city and +20... +25 °C throughout the region.

As a reminder, May 2026 in Kyiv turned out to be warmer than usual and was accompanied by a series of synoptic anomalies. The city recorded new all-time high temperatures, as well as periods of extreme heat throughout the month.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center released a forecast for the second month of spring, according to which temperatures and precipitation will remain within the climatic norm.
