The first frosts are expected in Ukraine on October 2–3

A cold snap is expected in Ukraine in the coming days, bringing the first frosts. On the nights of October 2 and 3, the soil surface temperature may drop to 0…-3°.

According to the forecast by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, frosts are expected on October 2 across almost the entire country, with the exception of the southern regions.

The State Emergency Service has issued a Level I hazard alert—yellow.
