Budanov wished the mysterious Ukrainian intelligence general a happy birthday
On September 19, Kirill Budanov wished a combat general of Ukrainian intelligence a happy birthday. However, the head of the Office of the President did not mention the military officer’s name in his post.
“Today, a true combat general of Ukrainian intelligence—a brother-in-arms, a specialist, and a statesman—is celebrating his birthday,” Budanov wrote on Telegram.
The head of the Office of the President also shared a photo of the birthday boy. It shows a burly man in uniform, wearing a cap, dark sunglasses, and a protective bandana covering the lower half of his face. He is standing with his back to the camera and holding an assault rifle. Opposite the general are other men in uniforms, also armed. They are wearing turbans, and sand surrounds them.
According to Budanov, the general’s life and service exemplify the highest level of professionalism. The Head of the Office of the President also wished the military officer “robust health, boundless energy, new successful operations, and our shared Victory.”
Budanov concluded his greeting with the words: “Honor! Glory to Ukraine!”
