The State Bureau of Investigations is looking into the possible involvement of Gleb Novostroyny, a veteran of the KRAKEN special forces unit, in the organization of fraudulent call centers in Dnipro.
This is stated in the court ruling regarding the imposition of a preventive measure against him.
According to the investigation, while analyzing Novostroyny’s cell phone, law enforcement officials discovered information that, in their opinion, indicates his possible involvement in the activities of call centers that defrauded citizens out of their money.
Investigators are also looking into other incidents. According to media reports, the phone’s geolocation data confirms that Novostroyny was in Bali in early 2026, where individuals wanted by Indonesian authorities in connection with a murder case were also present during that same period. Law enforcement agencies have not officially announced any formal charges in this case.
In addition, the State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) accuses Novostroyny of document forgery, illegal possession of weapons, and evasion of military service. The veteran himself and his defense team deny all charges.
Ukrainian law enforcement agencies are investigatingthepossible involvement of Gleb Novostroyny, a veteran of the KRAKEN unit, in the murder of Igor Komarov in Indonesia. According to sources, the investigation has established that Novostroyny was on the island of Bali during the same period as Denis Galushko, who has been placed on an international wanted list.
