The company's director was caught supplying substandard anti-drone systems worth 4 million hryvnia

The Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Defense Affairs in the Central Region has notified the director of a company that she is suspected of fraud on an especially large scale. The woman supplied a military unit of the National Guard of Ukraine with substandard and unusable anti-drone systems worth 4 million hryvnias. The suspect faces 5 to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The investigation established that from December 2024 to June 2025, the company’s director delivered nine UAV countermeasure systems. To deceive the military, she provided quality certificates that met the procurement requirements but did not reflect the equipment’s actual specifications. As a result, the equipment proved incapable of blocking signals from enemy drones, posing a threat to the lives and safety of military personnel.

The issue of imposing a preventive measure in the form of pretrial detention on the suspect is currently being decided.
