Dmitry Komarov wears a Seiko watch with a space-age history worth 730 euros

Dmytro Komarov, a Ukrainian journalist and TV host of the show “The World Upside Down,” wears a Seiko Speedtimer SSC913P1 watch worth approximately 730 euros, which is about 38,000 hryvnias at the current exchange rate. This model is considered a direct descendant of the legendary Seiko 6139 chronograph, which once traveled into space.

According to the author of the cats_and_watches account on the social network Threads, this quartz chronograph has a case size of 41.4 by 13 millimeters, weighs 164 grams, and is water-resistant up to 100 meters. In addition, the watch’s movement is solar-powered, making it convenient and practical to use.
