Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov arrived in Kyiv on an official visit
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov arrived in Kyiv on Thursday, August 6, for an official visit. During the trip, he is scheduled to hold talks with his Ukrainian counterpart, Andriy Sibiga, and other high-ranking Ukrainian officials.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported that Jeyhun Bayramov was received in the Ukrainian capital by Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga.
“Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov was received by Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga in Kyiv,” the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry noted.
As part of his official visit, the head of Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry will hold bilateral meetings with Andriy Sibiga and other high-ranking Ukrainian officials.
The parties plan to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation and current areas of collaboration between Ukraine and Azerbaijan.

Earlier, British Defense Minister Wes Streeting made his first visit to Kyiv since taking office. He came to personally assess Ukraine’s needs ahead of the winter season and determine further steps for military support.
As a reminder, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, together with the “State Logistics Operator,” is preparing to update the technical specifications for individual food rations. The changes are based on the results of a survey conducted via the “Army+” app, in which more than 60,000 military personnel participated.
For the first time, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has included halal and kosher dry rations in daily field rations. This decision was made with the religious beliefs of service members in mind and to raise nutritional standards within the Armed Forces.
