A former director of a National Bank of Ukraine department has joined the supervisory board of Sens Bank
Natalia Degtyareva was appointed to the supervisory board of the state-owned Sens Bank as the government’s representative from the Cabinet of Ministers. The government adopted the corresponding resolution on August 21.
From 2016 to 2023, Degtyareva headed the Banking Supervision Department at the National Bank of Ukraine. Previously, she also worked at the NBU’s Khmelnytskyi Regional Office and served as director of the Internal Audit Department at Prominvestbank.
Following the reorganization of the banking supervision system at the National Bank, Degtyareva served as an advisor to the NBU’s Office of the Board and Institutional Relations.
With her appointment, the number of members on Sens Bank’s supervisory board will increase to five. However, the supervisory board requires at least six members to be quorate.

A preventive measure is currently being determined for Oleksiy Stupak, Chairman of the Management Board of Sens Bank.
Incidentally, the prosecutor is requesting that Mykyta be arrested with bail set at 200 million hryvnia.
Iryna Mudra, the former deputy head of the Office of the President, has been detained. She is currently at the NABU, where investigative proceedings are ongoing.
