Former President Poroshenko declared a gift worth nearly a billion to his wife and substantial assets for 2025
Former President and Member of Parliament of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has filed his electronic asset declaration for 2025. He reported a significant gift to his wife, Maryna.
According to the declaration registry, this was a non-monetary gift worth 988.71 million hryvnias—securities transferred to his wife.
Over the past year, the fifth president received substantial income. The main income came from the Swiss trust Sequent Schweiz AG (formerly Rothschild Trust)—824.3 million hryvnias in dividends.
Petro Poroshenko’s bank accounts hold $33.8 million, 115,500 euros, and 421,600 hryvnias. He holds 389 million hryvnias, $61.5 million, 1.27 million euros, and 260,000 pounds sterling in cash.
The former president’s wife, Marina Poroshenko, also has substantial savings: 104 million hryvnias, 3.32 million dollars, 2.75 million euros, and 570,000 pounds sterling.
The couple owns 27 companies, numerous securities and shares, as well as about a hundred items of valuable movable property.
As a reminder, MP Petro Poroshenko declared over 450 million hryvnias in income from securities transactions in just a month and a half—at the end of December and in January. This refers to profits from bonds and shares of foreign companies, declared as income from abroad.
