The Pechersky District Court of Kyiv has imposed a preventive measure on Nazarii Gusakov, who is suspected of fraudulently raising funds allegedly for the treatment of SMA.
According to the court’s decision, he has been placed under nighttime house arrest. Investigating Judge Svitlana Shaputko announced the ruling.
Earlier, journalist Olga Khudetska stated that activist Nazarii Gusakov, who suffers from spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), demanded donations from wounded soldiers and “traded on his connections.”
