What the Shufrich family's business structure looks like

YouControl analysts have identified and mapped out the ties between the family of Ukrainian MP Nestor Shufrich and 29 Ukrainian companies operating in various sectors—from media to construction and trade. The study also revealed a complex ownership structure involving relatives, foreign companies, and affiliated business partners. This was reported by YouControl.

The YouControl analytical system has published the results of a study documenting an extensive network of business ties belonging to the family of Ukrainian MP Nestor Shufrich, encompassing at least 29 companies registered in various regions of the country.

These include entities linked to the politician himself, his son Oleksandr, his late father Ivan Shufrich, and his wife Kateryna Maikova, with the highest concentration of companies located in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, and Zakarpattia. According to the study, the family’s business assets operate in several key economic sectors—media, construction, real estate, trade, and transportation—although financial reports for the past year are available only for some of the legal entities.

Analysts paid particular attention to Kyiv River Port PJSC, which has significant turnover and is part of the structure of related assets, as well as to other companies operating through complex ownership chains involving foreign offshore structures. “As of April 2026, active ties between Mr. Shufrich and members of his family and 29 companies in Ukraine have been documented,” YouControl’s materials note.

The report also indicates that some of these business structures are linked to Cypriot companies that act as participants or beneficiaries of Ukrainian enterprises in the energy, advertising, and automobile trade sectors.

Separately, the report notes the family’s involvement in media assets, particularly through media holding companies, as well as in agricultural and manufacturing enterprises, including the food industry. According to the study, some of the companies have cross-ownership ties between relatives and partners, as well as historical references to participation in joint business projects with other politically prominent figures.

Analysts also note that the Shufrich family’s business structure is multi-layered and includes both direct ownership stakes and indirect ties through other legal entities and foreign holding companies, which complicates a comprehensive assessment of the actual structure of their assets.
