The Lviv Territorial Control Commission has ordered an internal investigation into a video posted on social media

The Lviv Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support has launched an internal investigation following an incident that occurred on July 17 in Lviv during events to notify those subject to military service.

The investigation was prompted by videos circulating online that appear to show a man being physically assaulted. Authorities are currently determining all the circumstances of the incident and assessing the legal implications of the actions of those who may have been involved.

Based on the results of the internal investigation, an appropriate decision will be made in accordance with the requirements of current legislation.

The Lviv Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support announced this on Facebook.

As a reminder, the lawyer—who, according to Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets, was beaten during an incident at the Kharkiv Territorial Recruitment Center—was granted disability status and filed a complaint with the European Court of Human Rights. According to the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, the woman was denied access to her client, after which she sustained serious injuries.

In the Rivne region, a TCC official will stand trial for accepting bribes in the form of cash and cars.

As a reminder, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) announced new charges in the Midas case against Energoatom’s former executive director for security.
