Madyar responded to claims that military personnel were being pressured for participating in rallies

Robert Brovdi (Madyar), commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, stated that the USF does not tolerate any reprisals against service members, and promised to investigate reports of possible pressure being exerted on those who supported the protests following Mykhailo Fedorov’s resignation.

According to Brovdi, if evidence of violations is found, military personnel can contact him through a direct communication channel. He assured that all reports of possible abuse, violence, or corruption will be investigated.

The commander also stated that he had ordered an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the medical service’s interest in a former SBS servicemember who participated in the rally. According to his preliminary information, this is not a confirmed case of pressure, but rather a situation that, in his opinion, was exaggerated.

In addition, Brovdi refuted claims regarding the alleged absence of Unmanned Systems Forces leadership in combat zones. He emphasized that the Unmanned Systems Forces command is present in the area where combat missions are being carried out.

As a reminder, on July 16, rallies in support of Mykhailo Fedorov took place for the second time that day in Kyiv, Lviv, and Lutsk following reports of his resignation as defense minister. Participants called on the authorities to continue the reforms that have been initiated and to transparently determine the new leadership of the Ministry of Defense.

Russian Z-bloggers reacted positively to Mykhailo Fedorov’s dismissal as Ukraine’s defense minister, claiming that this could allegedly weaken the Ukrainian army.
