Poland's defense minister said that Navrotsky was aware of the delivery of Patriot missiles to Ukraine

Polish Defense Minister Vladislav Kosiniak-Kamysz accused President Karol Nawrocki’s inner circle of lying about the head of state’s alleged lack of knowledge regarding the transfer of PAC-3 missiles to Ukraine for its Patriot air defense systems.

A public dispute erupted after the Polish Ministry of Defense declassified information about military aid to Kyiv, including secret deliveries of the aforementioned missiles. In response, the head of the National Security Bureau (BBN) Bartosz Grodecki and the head of the Office of International Policy at the President’s Chancellery, Marcin Przydacz, simultaneously stated that the government had made this decision unilaterally and had not consulted with the president or his relevant agencies.

Kosiniak-Kamysz categorically refuted these statements, emphasizing that the issue of the supply had been discussed in detail at meetings of the Security Committee of the Council of Ministers, which were attended directly by a representative of the BBN. According to the minister, the relevant meetings took place on February 10, February 17, and March 24, 2026.

In addition, the defense minister noted that information on this matter was provided to the head of the President’s Office, Zbigniew Bogucki, and that NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte discussed the issue directly with Karol Nawrotsky himself. “In whose interests are you lying?” Kosiniak-Kamysz concluded in his statement.

Kosiniak-Kamysz wrote about this on the social media platform X.

As a reminder, Poland has criticized the government’s decision to declassify information regarding military aid to Ukraine.
