The Ministry of Culture stated that it did not approve Petrov's booking

The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine stated that it did not approve Vladimir Petrov’s booking.

This was reported by Censor.NET.

The ministry explained that it does not reserve employees of critically important enterprises and does not provide the relevant approvals.

At the same time, the Ministry of Culture confirmed that “Korysne TV” LLC, with which Petrov is associated, has been granted the status of a critical enterprise because it meets the established criteria—specifically, it has no tax debts and participates in the production of content for the “Yedyni Novyny” telethon.

The ministry emphasized that the exemption of employees subject to military service is carried out directly by the enterprises through the “Diya” portal, and the lists are compiled by company management, which is responsible for their compliance with the requirements.

The law also stipulates that no more than 50% of employees subject to military service may be exempted, unless the Ministry of Defense decides otherwise.

The Ministry of Culture added that it has no information regarding an increase in this limit for the company in question.

Recall: Kremlin tactics and attacks on opponents: why Ivanov and Petrov were shielded at Bankova.

Blogger Petrov stopped traveling around the city after his mobilization exemption was revoked.

PR specialist Petrov is also suspected of embezzling funds from the National Military Memorial Cemetery.

The SBU opened a case against Petrov on suspicion of treason.
