The Ministry of Veterans Affairs has launched a mobile banking service for military personnel

UA NEWS 26 May 2026 20:02
The Ministry of Veterans Affairs has launched a mobile banking service for military personnel

Ukrainian military personnel and veterans—both men and women—who are currently undergoing treatment or rehabilitation will now be able to access mobile banking services directly at medical facilities. The new service will allow them to quickly open an account, apply for a payment card, or complete mandatory identification procedures without having to visit a financial institution in person.

This was officially announced by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.

The project will be implemented through coordination among several agencies. Veterans support specialists from the Ministry of Veterans Affairs and representatives of relevant support services of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will record specific requests from wounded servicemen directly on-site. Based on these requests, PrivatBank’s mobile staff will visit hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and specialized veteran facilities to resolve all necessary financial matters.

The ministry emphasized that the implementation of this format, in addition to its obvious convenience and accessibility, serves an important protective function. On-site service will reliably protect military personnel in medical facilities from additional risks and common financial fraud schemes.

According to the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, the new service will be available in all regions of Ukraine where PrivatBank has operational capacity. It is reported that the financial institution has already prepared the necessary infrastructure: over 140 bank employees have successfully completed specialized training and accessibility courses to ensure qualified and sensitive service for Ukrainian veterans.

As a reminder, "Dii" has automated the renewal of employee bookings.

Online services for veterans have been expanded in Ukraine.
