Monobank will introduce a fee for deposits made via EasyPay
Monobank has notified customers about the introduction of a fee for card top-ups via EasyPay terminals. This was reported by Channel 24, citing a notification that users received in the bank’s app.
The changes will take effect on July 1. Starting then, topping up a Monobank card via EasyPay terminals will incur an additional fee.
The bank clarified that users will still be able to top up their cards at no additional cost if they choose alternative methods:
The following options are available without a fee:
- Monobank terminals
- A-Bank terminals
- City24 terminals
- bank teller windows (including A-Bank, Akordbank, Ukrgasbank, and Universal Bank)
- top-ups via Ukrposhta
The changes primarily affect top-ups via EasyPay, while other channels remain available without a fee, provided that alternative deposit methods are used.
This is indicated by notifications users received in the bank’s app.
As a reminder, starting June 10, all international SWIFT payments at Monobank are completely free for regular users and businesses. The new policy applies to both incoming and outgoing money transfers.
