A combat module of a Russian drone was neutralized in the Chernihiv region
Explosive ordnance disposal experts from the Chernihiv Regional Police neutralized the warhead of a Russian attack drone, which was discovered after it was shot down by the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Chernihiv district.
Law enforcement officers safely recovered the unexploded ordnance and carried out its controlled disposal. The police once again urged citizens not to approach suspicious objects and to immediately report such findings to emergency services.
The police received a report about the discovery of the remains of an enemy attack UAV in the Nizhyn district. The drone was found in an open area; its warhead had not detonated.
Police bomb disposal experts examined the remains of the drone and its warhead. For safety reasons, the specialists decided to destroy the warhead on site while observing all necessary safety precautions.
