In the Donetsk region, the mandatory evacuation of families with children has been expanded to include two more communities

In some settlements of the Svyatogorsk and Sloviansk communities in Donetsk Oblast, families with children will be subject to forced evacuation. Local authorities adopted a decision to this effect, expanding evacuation measures to include these two communities.

Mandatory evacuation from Donetsk Oblast has been expanded

The Coordination Headquarters for Evacuation Measures and Effective Response to Mass Population Displacement in Donetsk Oblast held its regular meeting.

The establishment of a new evacuation site for citizens was approved. The reason is that the occupiers are deliberately targeting evacuation sites for civilians in the region.

A decision was also approved to carry out the mandatory, forced evacuation of children:

• from certain settlements of the Svyatogorsk City Territorial Community,

• certain areas of the city of Sloviansk,

• certain areas of the village of Sukhanivka in the Sloviansk community.

The goal is to protect the lives and health of children amid the constant threat of enemy shelling, the Donetsk Regional State Administration noted.

The authorities urged parents:

• not to delay evacuation,

• to take their children’s safety seriously.

This was reported with reference to a statement from the Donetsk Regional State Administration.

There are still 350 children under mandatory evacuation in the Donetsk region.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, mandatory evacuation has been announced for another 16 settlements.

As a reminder, the National Security and Defense Council approved a resilience plan for Kyiv, and its implementation has already begun.

Zelenskyy suggested that Ukraine is being denied air defense missiles in order to coerce it into negotiations with Russia.
