The search for a missing 4-year-old boy has been ongoing for five days in the Dubrovychi district
In the Dubrovychi district, the search for a 4-year-old child who went missing earlier has been ongoing for five days now.
Law enforcement officers and rescue workers from the Cherkasy region have joined the rescue operation, using modern equipment to conduct a more thorough and faster search of the river.
This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
As a reminder, on April 5, around 3 p.m., two boys from the village of Kolky, aged 2 and 4, went out to ride their bicycles and did not return. The younger boy, Vladislav, was found in a body of water that same day.
The search for the older boy, Dmytro, is still ongoing. Every day, community police officers, criminal investigators, K-9 handlers, operatives, rescuers, border guards, divers, members of the “Predator” unit, and concerned citizens are joining the effort. Drones are being used to survey the area from the air and in the water.
The operation is complicated by strong winds and rain. However, dozens of kilometers of land and water bodies have already been searched. Hundreds of households have been checked. Unfortunately, there are no results yet. The search continues.
