The highest danger level has been declared in Lviv Oblast due to frost
Forecasters have issued a Level III (red) danger warning for Lviv Oblast and the city of Lviv due to expected extreme frosts.
This was reported by the Lviv Regional Center for Hydrometeorology.
According to forecasts, on April 30, the air temperature in the region may drop to 5–8° below freezing, and on May 1, frosts ranging from 0° to 3° below freezing are expected.
In Lviv, temperatures of 5–6° below zero are forecast for April 30, and from 0° to 2° below zero on May 1.
Forecasters warn that such weather conditions may pose a serious danger, particularly to agriculture, and urge people to take the forecast into account when planning their activities.
