In the Lviv region, three men broke into the Territorial Defense Center and attacked the soldiers
In Yavoriv, Lviv Oblast, three individuals broke into the premises of the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TRSSC) and attempted to attack military personnel. Some of the attackers have already been detained, and another is being sought.
This was reported by the press service of the Lviv Regional TSC and SP.
The incident occurred on April 17 at approximately 10:20 p.m. at the Yavoriv District TSC and SP.
“Three individuals broke into the Yavoriv District TSC and SP and attempted to attack military personnel from the security platoon,” the agency stated.
According to the TCC, the soldiers were able to stop the attackers before law enforcement arrived. At the scene, police detained two individuals involved in the incident; another is currently being sought.
The Regional Military Command emphasized that such actions are unacceptable in the context of a full-scale war.
“During a large-scale war with Russian occupiers, force and anger should be directed against the enemy. However, unfortunately, there are those who believe it is acceptable to demoralize their own society and attack their own military personnel,” the statement reads.
The agency also emphasized that such actions are completely unjustifiable.
“The court will provide a legal assessment of this crime. A pre-trial investigation is underway. The attackers will undoubtedly be held accountable in accordance with current legislation,” the TCC added.
Since the start of the full-scale war in Ukraine, 620 attacks on representatives of territorial recruitment and social support centers have been recorded.
