Two buses collided head-on in the Odesa region; there are fatalities and dozens of injured
A major traffic accident involving two intercity buses occurred near Odesa, killing two women and injuring at least 25 others, including five children. According to preliminary information from law enforcement, the collision occurred after one of the drivers veered into oncoming traffic.
Investigators have opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding a violation of traffic safety rules that resulted in the deaths of several people. The issue of arresting the driver responsible for the collision and charging him is currently being decided, and a series of forensic examinations has been ordered to determine all the circumstances of the incident.

Earlier, a serious traffic accident involving two BMWs occurred in central Kyiv—one of the cars veered onto the sidewalk, demolished the outdoor terrace of an establishment, and overturned.
