The curfew hours have been changed in the Poltava region
The Poltava Regional Defense Council has decided to change the curfew hours. From now on, the restrictions will be in effect from 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m., according to Vitaliy Dyakivnych, head of the Poltava Regional State Administration.
“Changing the curfew hours will allow us to take into account the current security situation in the region while maintaining the necessary restrictions at night,” Dyakivnych wrote on Thursday on his Telegram channel.
He reminded residents that during curfew, it is prohibited to be on the streets or in other public places without special passes.
As previously reported, in early September, the government recommended that military command and military administrations (if established) to introduce a curfew from 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. within one week and to determine other specifics of implementing the curfew in territorial communities and individual settlements, taking into account the security situation in the region.

In Pryluky, Chernihiv Oblast, a fire broke out at the British American Tobacco cigarette factory on the afternoon of September 7 as a result of a Russian attack. According to employees, the roof of the cigarette production facility caught fire, but everyone was evacuated to shelters in time.
It is important to note that the workers were in a shelter at the time of the attack. This helped prevent more serious consequences for the people involved. Rescue workers are currently extinguishing the fire. The exact extent of the damage to the factory and the consequences of the attack are still being assessed. This was reported by a “Suspilne” correspondent on the scene.
In the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions, military personnel from the Territorial Defense Forces and the Special Forces were notified that they are under suspicion in criminal proceedings regarding the unlawful use of force against civilians during mobilization operations.
