Ukraine has significantly strengthened its influence in global politics, becoming an attractive and strategically important partner for many countries.
This new level of agency has sparked significant interest from the international community, which often escalates into genuine competition for the attention of the Ukrainian government.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga said this in an interview with Ukrinform following his participation in the 5th Antalya Diplomatic Forum.
The head of the foreign ministry emphasized that the world’s perception of our country has undergone fundamental changes.
“Ukraine really sounds different. Ukraine is positioned differently. We have become much more assertive,” Andriy Sybiga emphasized.
According to him, Ukraine has emerged on the diplomatic radar of many countries as a powerful and capable player.
The minister noted that during the forum, he received an unprecedented number of requests for bilateral talks.
Many of these proposals came from countries that had not previously shown active interest in establishing close cooperation.
“I don’t recall ever receiving such a large number of requests for meetings during multilateral platforms. I would even say that this is a form of competition for Ukraine’s attention and for the opportunities that arise from cooperation with Ukraine,” the Foreign Minister emphasized.
Ukraine demonstrates its readiness to be not only a recipient of aid but also an active contributor to global and regional security.
It is precisely this ability to generate mutually beneficial solutions that makes our country an attractive platform for investment and political alliances.
Andriy Sybiga also added that Ukraine’s international presence is growing simultaneously in various regions of the world.
Despite the massive challenges of the war, the state is finding resources to expand its diplomatic horizons and protect its national interests.
“This makes us attractive and enables mutually beneficial cooperation. And this cooperation strengthens Ukraine,” the minister concluded.
Effective cooperation with partners is becoming one of the key tools for strengthening defense capabilities and economic stability.
