A nighttime ban on passenger transport has been imposed in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk Oblast
In the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk Oblast, which is controlled by the “DPR” group, restrictions have been imposed on passenger road transport during nighttime hours.
According to the announced decision, starting June 12, regular and irregular passenger transport is prohibited from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Moscow time.
The occupation administration stated that this decision was made by the so-called “DPR” defense headquarters, allegedly for security reasons.
The introduction of new restrictions came amid reports of drone attacks on the occupied territories of Donetsk Oblast. Earlier, it was reported that drone strikes on Donetsk had caused a power outage at a water filtration plant.
Due to the accident, residents of Donetsk, Yasynuvata, and part of the Chervonohvardiyskyi district of Makiivka were left without water.
In addition, a drone attack on Sevastopol was reported. Following this, an air raid alert was declared in the city, which was later lifted in the morning.
At present, the occupying authorities have not specified how long the new restrictions on passenger transport will remain in effect.
This was reported by the administration of the occupying authorities.
As a reminder, in the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk region, Russia is finalizing the creation of a system of “peace judges” who are to become part of the full judicial hierarchy of the Russian Federation in the occupied territories.
As a reminder, in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, the “United Russia” party has completed its so-called primaries and selected 130 “candidates” for the Russian State Duma, nearly a third of whom are participants in the war against Ukraine. Human rights activists assert that this is no coincidence, but rather part of the Kremlin’s systematic policy to establish a loyal government in the occupied territories.
In the temporarily occupied city of Luhansk, Russian invaders have established the “Warrior” military-sports center, whose main goal is to involve local children and youth in military training.
